SET-1.01

PURPOSE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION

        The meters are intended for accounting of active and reactive electrical energy of the forward and reverse direction in single-phase power circuits of alternating current.

    The electricity meters can be used for measuring instantaneous values of active, reactive and total power, voltage, current and power factor, network frequency  and temperature inside the meter.

    The meters can be used in an electric vehicle which is propelled by an alternating current motor and operates in the traction and recuperation mode.

    The energy meters can be used either independently or as a component of:
  • automated systems for commercial energy accounting (ASKUE);
  • automated dispatch control systems (ASDU);
  • automated systems for recording alternating current flow and auto control data.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • Digital signal processing.
  • Four pulse outputs.
  • Communication interfaces: RS-485, optoport, CAN, fiber-optic communication line.
  • Current transformer connection and voltage transformer or direct voltage connection are possible.
  • Nonvolatile memory.

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

    The electricity meters provide the possibility to programme from an external PC through RS-485 interface or optoport the following parameters:

  • network address;
  • data access password of the first and the second level;
  • exchange rate through RS-485 interface (only through RS-485 interface);
  • exchange rate through CAN interface and  period for the data output in CAN;
  • the locomotive’s number and section number (name of the accounting point);
  • current transformation ratio;
  • period for the data output on the display;
  • programmable flags.

    The electricity meters provide the possibility to control from an external PC through RS-485 interface or optoport:

  • display modes;
  • reset of stored energy registers;
  • the meter restart.

    The electricity meters provide the possibility to read with the help of an external PC through RS-485 interface or optoport the following parameters and data:

  • serial number and date of production;
  • network address;
  • the locomotive’s number and section number (name of the accounting point);
  • current transformation ratio;
  • measured active and reactive energy of the forward and reverse direction;
  • current values of active and reactive energy of the forward and reverse direction;
  • instantaneous values of active, reactive and total power;
  • voltage, current and power factor;
  • network frequency;
  • temperature inside the meter;
  • version of the meter’s software;
  • meter status words;
  • programmable flags;
  • modification;
  • display mode and period for the data output on the display;
  • exchange rate through CAN interface and period for the data output in CAN.

    SET-1.01.04 and SET-1.01.05 energy meters ensure transmission of measurement data packets through CAN interface with programmable transmission period.

    SET-1.01.02 and SET-1.01.03 energy meters provide periodic one-way data packet transmission through fiber-optic communication line.
