DESIGNATION AND AREA OF APPLICATION

The meters are designed for multi-tariff commercial or technical accounting of active power energy independently on the direction (accounting on the module) in single-phase, two-wired AC mains.

Meters optionally keep four-channel array of the parameter profile with programmable integration time, can be used as meters of parameters in single-phase main and electric power quality parameters.

Meters are designed for stand-alone operation or for the operation as a part of automated electric power monitoring and accounting systems (APMAS), billing systems with implemented load control function according to programmed criteria or according to remote requests.

ELECTRIC POWER METER FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

Billing and energy accounting

Electric power meters keep multi-tariff accounting of active power in four tariff zones (T1-T4) on four types of days (working days, Saturday, Sunday, holiday) in twelve seasons.

The increment of a tariff zone is 10 minutes. Alternation of tariff zones in days is limited to the number of ten-minute intervals in days and is 144 intervals.

The electric power meters’ rater uses tariff schedule, schedule of holidays and list of rescheduled days.
Electric power meters keep archives of billable accounted energy:

  • total from a reset (progressive total);
  • over the current and previous days;
  • at the beginning of the current and previous days;
  • over the current month and twelve previous months;
  • at the beginning of the current month and twelve previous months;
  • over the current and previous years;
  • at the beginning of the current and previous years;

Power before and after the programmed limit, and total energy before and after the programmed limit (e.g., social limit) in each tariff zone are accounted separately.

Parameter profile

Electric power meters keep optionally four-channel array of parameter profile with programmable integration time from 1 to 60 minutes for active power independently on the direction, mains voltage, load current and temperature inside the meter.

The period of profile array storage with the integration time of 30 minutes is 113 days.

Measurement of mains parameters and electricity quality indicators

Electric power meters measure momentary values of physical magnitudes characterizing single-phase electric main and can be used as meters for the following parameters:

  • active, reactive and total powers;
  • mains voltage and built-in battery;
  • current;
  • power coefficient;
  • mains frequency;
  • current time and date;
  • temperature inside the electric power meter.

All measured mains parameters are available via communication interface and can be displayed on the electric power meter indicator in auxiliary parameters indication mode.

Meters can be used as electric power quality level meters on parameters of steady-state deviation of mains frequency in accordance with GOST 13109-97 and on parameters of steady-state deviation of mains voltage in accordance with ILGSh.411152.158TU.

Load control

Electric power meters generate load control signals according to various programmable criteria and allow to cut/start load by means of an external switching device.

Electric power meters with load control function can operate in the following modes:

  • pre-payment mode;
  • load power limiting mode;
  • mode of power limiting over a day;
  • mains voltage control mode;
  • electric power meter temperature control mode;
  • mode of load control according to a schedule.

Indicated modes can be permitted or prohibited in any combinations depending on electric power meter configurations.

Test output

The electric power meters have one insulated test output of main transmitting device that can be configured for generation of:

  • indication signal for the excess of active power programmable threshold;
  • telemetry pulses of active power accounting channel;
  • load control signal according to programmable criteria;
  • signal for controlling precision of the clock.

Digital input

The electric power meters have one insulated digital output that can be configured:

  • as calibration mode control input;
  • as an input for counting of the number of pulses as progressive total coming from external devices (on front, rear edge or both edges);
  • as remote alarm input.

Logs

Meters keep event logs, electric power quality indicators log, power threshold excess log and status log.

Indication device

The electric power meters have liquid crystal display (LCD) for displaying of accounted energy and measured values, one button for controlling indication modes.

The electric power meters in basic parameters indication mode allow displaying if accounted active energy on the display:

  • total from the reset on the current tariff before and after established limit;
  • total from the reset on each tariff and the sum of tariffs before and after established limit;
  • over the current month and twelve previous months on each tariff and the sum of tariffs, before and after established limit;

The electric power meters in auxiliary parameters indication mode allow displaying on the indicator measured momentary values of the following physical magnitudes:

  • active, reactive and total power;
  • mains voltage and built-in battery;
  • current;
  • power coefficient;
  • mains frequency;
  • current time and date;
  • temperature inside the electric power meter.

Communication interface
Electric power meters provide the option for reading-out, programming and re-programming of parameters and data via RS-485, optical port communication interfaces.
A meter with PLC-modem provides data transmission via low-voltage general duty electric mains with the support of Y-NET protocol suite allowing to organize tree-structured data transmission network with automatic addressing, routing and automatic route optimization.

Operation with electric power meters via communication interfaces can be done using ‘Configurator SET-4TM’ software.

The access to electric power meter’s parameters and data from communication interfaces is protected by passwords for reading and programming (two levels of access).

Metrological coefficients and factory parameters are protected by means of hardware jumper wire and inaccessible unless seals are broken.
