SEB-1TM.02M meter

DESIGNATION AND AREA OF APPLICATION

The electric power meter is designated for multi-tariff commercial or technical accounting of active power independently on the direction (accounting on the module) and of reactive power of forward and reverse direction in single-phase two-wired AC mains.

The meter keeps four-channel array of power load profile as parameter meter of single-phase mains and electric power quality parameters.

ELECTRIC POWER METER TECHNICAL FEATURES

    • - meter unit in a case for outdoor mounting
    • - remote terminal in a case for DIN-rail mounting.
  • Communication between the electric power meter and remote terminal is done via radio interface.

ELECTRIC POWER METER FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

Billing and electric power accounting
The electric power meter keeps multi-tariff accounting of active and reactive power in four tariff zones (T1-T4) on four types of days (working days, Saturday, Sunday, holiday) in twelve seasons. A season means a calendar month of a year starting on the first day.
The increment of a tariff zone is 10 minutes. Alternation of tariff zones in days is limited to the number of ten-minute intervals in days and is 144 intervals.
The electric power meter rater uses tariff schedule, schedule of holidays and list of rescheduled days. The list of rescheduled days allows to change billing without changing tariff schedule (e.g., working Saturday that shall be billed as a working day).
The meter keeps archives of billed accounted electric power and non-billed accounting of the number of pulses coming from an external sensor via a digital input:

  • total from a reset (progressive total);
  • over the current and previous days;
  • at the beginning of the current and previous days;
  • over the current month and twelve previous months;
  • at the beginning of the current month and twelve previous months;
  • over the current and previous years;
  • at the beginning of the current and previous years;

The electric power meter can be configured for single-direction accounting mode for reactive energy and to account:

  • active energy of forward and reverse direction as active energy of forward direction (accounting on the module);
  • reactive energy of first and third quadrant as reactive energy of forward direction (inductive load);
  • reactive energy of fourth and second quadrant as reactive energy of reverse direction (capacitive load).

Load power profile
Electric power meter keeps four-channel array of load power profile with programmable integration time from 1 to 60 minutes for active power (independently on the direction), mains voltage, reactive power of forward direction, reactive power of reverse direction.

Measurement of mains parameters and electricity quality indicators
The electric power meter measures momentary values of physical magnitudes with averaging time of 1 sec, characterizing single-phase electric main and can be used and a meter for:

  • active and reactive power;
  • total power;
  • mains voltage and built-in battery;
  • current;
  • active power coefficient;
  • mains frequency;
  • current time and date;
  • temperature inside the electric power meter.

All measured mains parameters are available via communication interfaces and can be displayed on the electric power meter indicator in auxiliary parameters indication mode.
The meter can be used as electric power quality indicator meter by the parameters of stationary voltage deviations.
The electric power meter allows to control load by means of a built-in load control relay and generate load control signal in configurable test output by various programmable criteria. The electric power meter with the control function can operate in:

  • load power limiting mode;
  • mode of power limiting over a day;
  • mode of energy limiting over a billing period;
  • mains voltage control mode;
  • electric power meter temperature control mode;
  • mode of load control according to a schedule.

Indicated modes can be permitted or prohibited in any combinations. Independently on permitted modes, load controlling and load control signal is generated on operators demand via an interface.

Test output
The electric power meter has one insulated test output functioning that can be configured for generation of:

  • indication signal for the excess of active power programmable threshold;
  • telemetry pulses in one of power accounting channel (active, reactive, forward and reverse direction);
  • load control signal according to programmable criteria;
  • remote control signals;
  • signal for controlling precision of the clock.

Digital input
The electric power meter has one insulated digital output functioning that can be configured for:

  • calibration mode control;
  • counting of the number of pulses as progressive total coming from external devices (on front, rear edge or both edges);
  • as remote alarm input.

Meter logs
The meter keeps event logs, electric power quality indicators log, power threshold excess log and status log.

Indication device
The electric power meters designed for indoors mounting have measuring indicator (MI) on the basis of a liquid crystal display (LCD) for displaying accounted energy and measured parameters, and one button for controlling indication modes.
Accounted electric power and measured parameters from outdoor mounted electric meters shall be displayed via T-1.01 terminal that can be connected to a meter via radio channel my means of a built-in radio modem. Meters terminal has the same liquid crystal display (LCD) for displaying accounted energy and measured parameters, as well as indication modes control button, as meters for indoors mounting.
The electric power meter in basic parameters indication mode allows displaying if accounted energy on an indicator:

  • current active and reactive energy as progressive total (total from a reset) according to actual tariff of the current direction;
  • accounted active energy and reactive energy of forward and reverse direction as progressive total (total from a reset) according to each tariff and to the sum of tariffs;
  • accounted active energy and reactive energy of forward and reverse direction over the current month and 12 previous months according to each tariff and to the sum of tariffs.

The electric power meter in auxiliary parameters indication mode allows displaying on the indicator measured momentary values of physical magnitudes:

  • active, reactive and total power;
  • mains voltage and built-in battery;
  • current;
  • power coefficient;
  • mains frequency;
  • current time and date;
  • temperature inside the electric power meter;
  • electric power meter SW versions and test sum of metrologically essential part of the SW.

Communication interfaces
Depending on the design style, the electric power meter has two independent communication interfaces of equal priority:

  • RS-485 and radio modem or optical port;
  • RS-485 and optical port;
  • PLC-modem and radio modem or optical port;
  • PLC-modem and optical port.

   The model range of SEB-1TM.02M series electric power meters include meters featuring load control relay, types of communication interfaces and method of mounting (indoors or outdoors). The electric power meters of all design options have identical metrological characteristics, the same design of parts determining these characteristics, the same software.
