MAYAK 301ART

PURPOSE

Energy meters are designed for accounting of active and reactive energy in three- and four-wire AC networks with the rated frequency of 50 Hz depending on time of day and energy and power consumption levels.

Energy meters may be used both in standalone mode and as part of automated measuring and information systems for electric power fiscal accounting (AMIS EPFA) with a predetermined program and capability to set (adjust) the respective rate card.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • Non-volatile RAM.
  • Rate card of four rates (for each weekday and exceptional days of each month).
  • Capability to set up to 32 exceptional days.
  • Liquid crystal display (LCD) has five cyclic display modes.
  • Communication interfaces optical port, 2 x RS-485 or RS-485 (simultaneous connection to RS-485 and optical port is possible).
  • Two pulsed (remote control system) outputs.
  • Current transformers are used as current sensors.
  • Precise built-in real-time clock (accuracy better than 0.5 s/day).
  • Load control function in case of crossing the preset power limit with subsequent connection to the network upon reduction of the load level (signal).
  • Enhanced security (two access levels common and individual passwords; capability to record date and time of the last energy meter disconnection from the power network, last energy meter switching on).

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

Energy meters provide the capability to record, store and read out the following values using an interface:

  • running total of active and reactive energy measured according to rates available from the date of manufacture;
  • active and reactive energy measured at the beginning of each month according to rates available over a one-year period;
  • active and reactive energy measured as well as maximum active and reactive power for each half-hour of a month over a two-month period;
  • power switch on / switch off time (32 events);
  • time of channel opening and closing for writing (32 events);
  • date and time prior to and upon the adjustment (32 events);
  • date and time of terminal box cover opening and resealing (32 events);

Energy meters provide the capability to record instantaneous values of load power.
Energy meters provide the capability to read out and reprogram the following parameters using a communication interface:

  • date and time;
  • consumer category;
  • schedule of exceptional days;
  • annual rate card (for each weekday and exceptional day of a month);
  • power limit and monthly limit of energy;
  • operation modes of energy meter pulsed outputs:

         a) calibration / remote control system - for energy meter calibration or energy consumption control;
         b) switch on / switch off, control;
         c) calibration - to check the clock accuracy;

  • display mode and display period within the range of 6 to 60 s;
  • permissions for the single-rate operation mode.

Energy meters provide the capability to reprogram bit rate, common password, individual password, address and write access through a communication interface.
Liquid crystal display (LCD) ensures cyclic representation of the following data:

  • current value of energy according to each rate available;
  • total value of accumulated energy;
  • current time;
  • current date;
  • current active power measured;
  • total value of active power; 
  • current reactive power measured;
  • total value of reactive power; 
  • line-to-ground voltage;
  • phase current;
  • frequency;
  • current month rate card;
  • value of energy accumulated within a month according to rates available;
  • active energy consumed in the current half-hour;
  • maximum active power consumed in the current half-hour;
  • reactive energy consumed in the current half-hour;
  • maximum reactive power consumed in the current half-hour.
