DESIGNATION AND AREA OF APPLICATION

The meter is intended for accounting of active and reactive electric power in three-, four-wire AC mains with 50 Hz frequency differentiated both by the time of day and by the level of consumed electric energy and power.
The meter can be used independently or as a part of automated informational and measurement electric power monitoring and accounting systems (AIMEPMAS) with an option of automatic power consumption monitoring.

ELECTRIC POWER METER TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • Tariff schedule for 4 tariffs (for every day of a week of each month and holidays in each month).
  • Nonvolatile memory.á
  • Programmable pulse output for 6 modes.
  • Current transformer is used as current sensor.
  • Option for connection of external 9 V back-up power source for readout in case of loss of 230 V.
  • 5 logs by 32 events.
  • Communication interfaces: RS-485 and optical port.
  • Simultaneous operation via both ports (RS-485 and optical port) is allowed.
  • Half-hour profile of active and reactive energy and power (storage period is 2 months).
  • Daily self-diagnosis of programs' memory.

ELECTRIC POWER METER FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

Meter provides measurement, registration and storage in nonvolatile memory of:

  • values of accounted electric energy as progressive total, from the moment of manufacturing for all tariffs;
  • values of accounted electric energy at the beginning of each month for all tariffs with storage period of 24 months;
  • values of accounted electric energy and maximum power for each half an hour during two months.
  • time and date for power supply switching on/off (32 events);
  • time and date for channel opening/closing for recording via RS 485 (32 events);
  • time and date for channel opening/closing for recording via optical port (32 events);
  • time and date before and after correction (32 events);
  • time and date for terminal block cover opening and closing (32 events);
  • time and date of energization / de-energizationá by └, ┬, Đ phases (by 32 events).

The power meter allows reprogramming option via a communication interface for:

  • exchange speed via RS-485;
  • group and individual password;
  • address;
  • password for recording.

If wrong password for recording is entered three times, the electric power meter blocks the recording channel for 24 hours.
Electric power meter generates load control signals according to various programmable criteria and allows to start/cut load by means of an external switching device.
The electric power meter has the option of reading and reprogramming via RS-485 interface or an optical port for the following parameters:

  • consumer's category;
  • current time and date;
  • annual tariff schedule (for every day of a week or a holiday of a month);
  • power limit and monthly energy limit;
  • function of permission/prohibition for automatic change from the Daylight Saving Time to the Standard Time and vice versa;
  • operating modes of electric power meter pulse output; calibration, telemetry, switching on/of, power control, clock calibration;
  • indication mode and indication period within the range from 6 to 60 sec.;
  • permission for single tariff operation mode.

Electric power meter displays the following parameters:

  • actual electric energy value for each tariff;
  • total value for accumulated electric energy;
  • current time;
  • current date;
  • current measured active power;
  • total value of active power;
  • current measured reactive power;
  • total value of reactive power;
  • phase voltage;
  • phase current;
  • frequency;
  • tariff schedule for the current month;
  • values of accumulated electric power over a month by tariffs;
  • consumed active electric power within the current half an hour;
  • maximum active power within the current half an hour;
  • consumed reactive electric power within the current half an hour;
  • maximum consumable reactive power within the current half an hour.
