Wattmeter-counter
VSET-1
PURPOSE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION
Standard meter is intended for periodic recalibration of single-phase and three-phase electricity meters measuring active and reactive energy in two directions, single-phase and three-phase wattmeters, varmeters as well as active and reactive energy trandsducers, voltmeters, ammeters and voltage and current transducers. It is possible to use it when adjusting and calibrating the indicated measuring devices.

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES
The standard meter provides periodic recalibration of single-phase and three-phase devices measuring electrical power and electrical energy of commercial frequency of the accuracy class 0,2 and less accurate for active power and energy and of the accuracy class 0,5 and less accurate for reactive power and energy. Here the standard meter measures: active power and energy of the forward and reverse direction in single-phase and three-phase, three- and four-wire circuits; reactive power and energy of the forward and reverse direction in single-phase and three-phase, three- and four-wire circuits; total power and energy, voltage and current in the indicated circuits; error of calibrated measuring devices when measuring with their help active, reactive and total energy of the forward and reverse direction.
The measured values of voltage, current, power and error are indicated on the built-in liquid-crystal display. On-screen display mode control and setting the mode of operation of the standard meter are carried out with the help of keyboard on the front panel.
The standard meter has 48 pulse inputs to connect the meters and an alternate 12V power source to power pulse inputs.
The standard meter can operate under control of a PC. Data exchange between the standard meter and PC is carried out through serial digital RS-232 or RS-485 interface. Exchange protocol provides the possibility to integrate the standard meter and other devices with compatible protocols into a network via RS-485 interface.
The standard meter is constructed as an individual portable device intended for desktop application.
